Privacy Policy
Pursely is built to run entirely on your device. It has no servers and no user account, and the figures you enter never leave your phone. There is nothing for us to collect, store, or share.
The short version
We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal or financial information. Your salary, pension, and all other figures are stored only on your device, under the operating system's own app data protection.
What we collect
Nothing. Pursely does not require an account, does not ask you to sign in, and does not send your data to us or to any third party. We operate no backend server that receives your information.
Data stored on your device
The profile you create (salary, pension contributions, salary-sacrifice items, tax region, student loan plan, commitments and similar) is saved locally on your device so the app can remember it between sessions. You can edit or delete it at any time within the app, and removing the app removes this data with it. If you turn on the app's private iCloud sync, your profile is mirrored through your own Apple iCloud (Apple's end-to-end-managed key-value storage) so it can restore on your other devices — we never see it. If you use your device's encrypted backup, that backup may include the app's local data; that backup is controlled by you and Apple, not by us.
Analytics and tracking
Pursely contains no third-party advertising, no tracking SDKs, and no usage analytics that identify you. We do not build a profile of you and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription, the payment is processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive only anonymised, aggregate information from Apple about purchases and never see your payment details. Where a subscription-management provider is used to validate your purchase, it processes only the purchase receipt, not your financial figures.
This website
The pursely.co.uk website is a static information site hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability as described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. The website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If you email us, that email is delivered to our inbox via Cloudflare Email Routing.
Children
Pursely is intended for adults managing their own finances and is not directed at children.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or erase on our side. You remain in full control of the information stored on your device.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the revised version on this page.
